Welcome to SchwabLearning.org! My wife and I understand the challenge of raising a child with a learning disability (LD), because our own son has dyslexia. Just getting through the assessment process when he was young was difficult for all of us. But through that process, his dyslexia was identified, and from there we could seek the help he needed. I also learned I have dyslexia, which explained my lifelong struggle with reading.

We didn't want our son to struggle for years like I did. But we had a hard time finding information on how to help him and how to work effectively with his teachers and other professionals.
