Budget declines
getting you down? Worried you can't keep up professionally with subscription
library journals? If you have Internet access, you can still accces
many periodicals of interest to librarians. Somemake articles available
a month after publication. In contrast, other periodicals show a
couple of feature articles when the print version is just being mailed.
Increasingly, open source initiatives are supporting free access to information
in order to keep citizens informed. While no substitute for print,
these web-based texts can provide you with information.
